With a grand opening this Saturday, September 18, Arrow Creative brings the spirit of the Memphis College of Art back to Midtown
Masked or unmasked, the patrons who got first-looks into the galleries, studios and corridors of Arrow Creative’s new Midtown space were all smiles.
And for good reason. Thursday’s private event felt like something the Memphis’ creative community has desperately missed — but after eighteen months of lockdowns and strife — had almost forgotten: art, and hope, are back. And they’re right here.
Arrow Creative‘s grand opening is this Saturday, from 11am to 6pm, in concert with the Cooper-Young Festival. Located at 653 Philadelphia Street, off Central Avenue, here’s a sneak-peek of what visitors can expect to see in its galleries, studios and marketplace.
