After two years away from newsstands, StoryBoard Memphis returns to print this November as StoryBoard Memphis Quarterly Magazine. The new magazine format will feature the same in-depth, feature-stylecoverage of Memphis history, arts, culture, community, and neighborhood issues that readers of the monthly newspaper came to know and love.
With more content per issue, the magazine will include new contributors as well as returning columnists and photographers. Readers can expect the return of perennial favorites including Wayne Dowdy’s Dateline column, Ken Billett’s writings, Candace Echol’s Yellow Chair ChronEchols, Eva Guggenheim’s Scrumbles, more from our community partners and contributors, and a dedicated return to original features on Memphis history and behind-the-scenes arts, culture and community planning coverage.
As with all StoryBoard Memphis programs, the magazine’s mission is to champion and support Memphis’s authentic assets in the arts, culture, and creative communities. A true Memphis original, content is produced by local writers, printed in town, and designed and distributed from our new office space at Arrow Creative, located in the heart of Midtown.
