Central Gardens Announces 47th Annual Home & Garden Tour; Set for Sunday September 10th

The organizers of the highly anticipated 47th Annual CGA Home & Garden Tour, presented by Sowell Realtors, are thrilled to reveal the exciting lineup of home sites for this year’s event. Taking place on Sunday, September 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., this year’s Home Tour promises to be a captivating showcase of historical charm and architectural excellence.

Nestled in the enchanting southwest portion of the historic neighborhood, the tour will feature a collection of captivating homes in or near the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Carr and Vinton. The homes included in this year’s tour are: 1475 Carr, 1478 Carr, 1461 Vinton, 1545 Vinton, 1583 Carr and 642 Melrose.

Each of these magnificent residences is a testament to the distinctive architectural styles that flourished during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, encompassing captivating designs such as Tudor, Prairie, and Italian Renaissance. Among the impressive selection of homes, one exceptional highlight is a new build, demonstrating how contemporary construction can harmoniously coexist in historic neighborhoods while adhering to guidelines that preserve the essence of the surroundings.
