“Something fun to do at home” – Pink Palace announces new Museum-to-Go digital programming

By Bill Walsh

While many people are home to avoid spreading the COVID-19 virus, the Pink Palace Museum is offering entertaining and educating programming to keep minds sharp and spirits up. Museum to Go is a great opportunity for the whole family to learn, discover and create at home.

“We’re all homebound and we get bored. Museum to Go is our way of giving kids and adults something fun to do at home,” said Bill Walsh, Marketing and Communications Manager at the Museum.

For added entertainment, the Museum is providing a free streaming movie link to the documentary America’s Musical Journey that has scenes shot in Memphis on Beale Street and the Arcade Restaurant in downtown.

Looking to the sky, visitors can enjoy the free streaming of The Sun, Our Living Star planetarium show. Discover the secrets of our star in this planetarium show and experience never-before-seen images of the Sun’s violent surface.

The Museum will be adding more shows, coloring books, fun educational activities, podcasts and more.
