Kindred Place gears up for dynamic fundraising event
Kindred Place, a counseling center focused on family dynamics and child development, is gearing up for one of their most dynamic fundraising events of the year: A Kindred Night Out.
On November 6, Kindred Place is turning Shelby Farms Park into a drive-in movie theater for a showing of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (PG-13). This is a family-friendly event that celebrates healthy relationships and raises funds to make peaceful homes possible. In this rain-or-shine outdoor event, guests will enjoy food and entertainment from the comfort of their own cars.
“A Kindred Night Out celebrates that delicate balance between family and community, between social distancing and communal gathering,” said Kindred Place Executive Director Jennifer Balink. “We look forward to a fun evening with our supporters and friends where we can be together safely and show support for parents, families, and healthy relationships. Money raised through this fun outdoor movie event will go toward our client assistance fund, eliminating financial barriers to counseling and parenting support. The transformative work at Kindred Place is possible only with help from events like this one, and we’re grateful for the sponsors who make it happen. We hope to see you there!”
While this is an event for Kindred Place sponsors, sponsorships that include car entry start at $150 and also offer a picnic meal for 2 people, drink tickets, and treats during intermission.
Proceeds help build their client assistance fund, an income-based financial aid program that makes specialized counseling available to all families in the Greater Memphis area.
Ticketed sponsorships are available here.
